Until the last decade, fertilization was the only way to produce viable mammalian offspring including human beings, a
process that have last thousands if not millions of years. The technology that involves fusion of embryonic or fetal somatic
cells with enucleated oocytes has become steadily more successful, resulting in the generation of a cloned lamb (Wilmut et
al., 1997), mice (Wakayama et al., 1998) and calves ((Kato et al., 1998) ). The protocol is simple and is available to the
public online. It is reasonable to believe that cloned human beings will appear soon after we overcome the fear of cloning
technology and clear the related ethical issues.

Storage of a given human's memory (downloading) is one major part of the problem. The other side of this technological
mountain is to transfer the memory, personality, preferences, quirks and all the other facets that make each of us so unique,
back into the suitable recipient shell.
