The decision to pursue immortality is an intensely personal choice. Humanity has tried for centuries to achieve immortality,
but so far without success. The definition of immortality influences the path attempted: authoring a famous novel, leading
a nation, working with the poor, winning the Olympics. People have tried mummification, enshrinement, deification, and cryo-preservation,
but so far, nothing has been verified to work!
AHE takes advantage of the latest advances in neuroscience and
radiology imaging to pursue immortality for you. Using proprietary processes, a detailed 3-D map of the brain is recorded
and preserved. The entire cellular architecture is recorded, to the limit of the most advanced imaging techniques in
existence. (in collaboration with such institutions as the Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM).
Our procedures are continually updated, as part of our on-going research in the area. The intent is to allow reconstruction
of consciousness and memory in the future, as the opportunity develops, by a reverse processing of the data stored.
Leading scientists have speculated that memory and consciousness reside in the organization of neurons, their inter-connections,
and the charges on the cell surfaces. Although the ability to understand the sequences, the charges, and how they relate to
memory and consciousness is in its infancy, the ability to record the data is fast approaching.
Beginnings
When the prospective immortal approaches, AHE staff will meet with them to discuss what participating in our program
fully means. This meeting lasts 3-6 hours, and can take place at the AHE offices, or the location of choice for the candidate.
These is a fee for the prospective member orientation.
At the end of the orientation, and once all questions can reasonably
be answered, a prospective cndidate is given the option to join. Assuming that all physical, legal and financial requirements
can be met, the person is inducted into the AHE RF as a immortality candidate.
Detailed cellular map of brain:
As detailed a map of the brain as is possible with use of concurrent imaging technologies will be constructed. On each SI
member. Multiple scanning technologies are employed on the brain, including CT, MRT, PET. The most detailed digital data set
is stored, for later reconstruction, in addition to the interpreted images. These data and images contain information on the
brain, which has been shown by current technologies to represent areas of cognition, memory, vision, and other central Neurologic
functions. In addition to imaging, an EEG is also performed, as are psychological profiles such as the MMPI.
Preservation of tissues for cloning: Multiple tissue samples from various organs with a complete karyotype will be
stored at -80 Deg, C. using standard techniques. As current technologies are employed to create a human clone, one will be
produced as a vessel into which the memory will be uploaded. Cryo-preservation As an option, the head or
the complete body can be cryo-preserved.
Memory Uploading: During the storage process, the SI RF will actively sponsor collaborative research with leading
centers on the issues of memory, consciousness, and uploading. At he appropriate time, determined and defined by the development
of aadequate technology, SI members will have their memory and consciousness uploaded and their personality restored. Members
can elect to place a minimum time before restoration begins, rather than at the earliest time.
